Thoughts
I will always remember this truly exceptional bloke who taught me so much and lessons which will stay with me for life. A genius, a wonderful musician and ingenious teacher with a fantastic sense of humour and humanity. Is loved and missed by all. Sleep tight Smiffy, a true legend x

I met Iain in 1981 when we started De La Salle. He was big brother to our group of girls. I have nothing but great memories the many fun times, antics working behind the bar with him, his DJ skills at the discos and playing ‘air’ drums to OMD and other bands. I’m so glad I met this kind, caring fun loving human being. RIP to you ‘Coot’ X.

So many memories to share and all were made happier and more joyous because Smiffy was around. Holidays from Wales to Scotland and good times shared around the kitchen table. Birthdays, Christmases, Easters and one very happy wedding day. Gone far too soon. sleep well big bruv.
